As an intern I was given day to day tasks to finish and record in my internship journal as well as completing worksheets for the class to finish my degree at Genesee Community College. With the company I saw through some small projects and learned to use Wordpress as well as learning more advanced CSS. I applied the knowledge I had from college as well as the new skills I learned from the WebOzy team to all of my work. I took extensive notes and kept a record of all of the new information that I learned for the course as well as future reference.
The work I did for the internship earned me a perfect grade in the class and I was also offered a position to work at WebOzy full time.
Batavia, NY, USA
At WebOzy, Inc., I had many responsibilities on a day to day basis. I worked on web development and managed projects as well as worked on content editing, SEO proposals, and blogging. I had the responsibility to manage emails from clients and carrying out tasks requested of me or assigned to me. I worked on developing newer websites as well as maintaining current client's websites both local and national. I managed most local clients websites on a day to day basis and often trained them on how to use their website. I also had the occasional responsibility to meet with potential local clients and make sales of our services to them.
While in this position I also learned how to answer phones and direct them as needed to the proper person and take messages when said person could not be reached. I even occasionally addressed and sent mail as well as worked with clients to get their billing information when needed.
As a web developer for WebOzy, Inc., my responsibilities included seeing through tasks and projects that I was assigned to completion along with developing websites, quality assurance testing, and being customer facing support for the company.
As the Lead Developer for eCompany Solutions, I am responsible for developing websites, creating landing pages, creating and sending email templates, building out automation campaigns, creating e-course websites, maintaining websites, as well as working with clients to achieve their goals.
